Experience glamping in Friuli on the island of Grado, an ancient route between East and West. Located in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, the island of Grado extends between the homonymous lagoon, the mouth of the river Isonzo and the Adriatic Sea, just a short distance from Slovenia, Croatia and Austria. Thanks to its position, the climate is so favorable that it is called Isola del Sole. Its lagoon is one of the most beautiful of the Mediterranean see; a tangle of canals and valleys among the “mote”, as the Grades call the small lagoon islands, covered with reeds and bushes.
There is no doubt. The most comfortable and relaxing means to move around are:
- the bike. The cycle path passes in front of the campsite, and in 20 minutes you can easily reach the historic centre, with no traffic problems and parking lots (sometimes very expensive). If you don’t have your own bike, ask for the hire at the reception desk.
- the boat. The Island of Grado is surrounded by the sea and the lagoon, and the main points of interest are easily reachable even with a small boat.
To rent the boat, with or without a license, you can go to the pier of Tenuta Primero.
